A List Of Nuclear Medicine Schools
You can obtain a degree or diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology through one of the many Nuclear Medicine schools. This will allow you to pursue a career in Nuclear Medicine.
These programs are usually between 2 to 4 years in length.
I have no university level education and I have never worked in the radiation imaging health care field.
If you do not have any university level education you will most likely have to take a full 4 year degree program / diploma which is similar to most university programs. At the end of this program and you will obtain a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nuclear Medicine.
I have worked in the radiation imaging health care field and I am looking to change profession. Will I have to attend one of the Nuclear Medicine schools?
If you have previously worked in the field or obtained a degree in radiation imaging health before you may be eligible to take a short program such as an Associate’s Degree. Nuclear Medicine schools offering these types of program will allow you to gain the appropriate additional training you require to become a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
Once you have completed the appropriate accredited program you must then become licensed and registered under the Nuclear Medicine Certification Board of the country you wish to work in.
